John Treat Irving (1812–1906)

Irving, John Treat, Jr. An American writer; born in 1812; died in 1906. A nephew of Washington Irving, and a lawyer of New York City. He wrote: ‘Indian Sketches’; ‘Hawk Chief’; ‘The Attorney’; ‘Henry Harson’; and ‘The Van Gelder Papers.’
