Konrad Neumann Hjelm Dahl (1843–1931)

Dahl, Konrad Neumann Hjelm (däl). A Norwegian story-teller; born in the parish of Drontheim, June 24, 1843; died in 1931. He is author of a series of stories and novels of Norwegian and Lapp life, with much insight into nature and into the heart of the people. Most notable among them are: ‘The Finnish Youth’ (1873); ‘The Lion’ (1874); ‘Eda Mansika’ (1875); ‘The Voyager in the Icy Sea’; ‘Lonely People.’
