Mary Cruger (1834–1908)

Cruger, Mary. An American novelist; born in New York State, 1834; died in 1908. Her home was in Montrose, NY. She wrote: ‘Hyperæsthesia’ (1885); ‘A Den of Thieves’ (1886); ‘The Vanderheyde Manor House’ (1887); ‘How She Did It, or Comfort on $150 a Year’ (1888); ‘Brotherhood’ (1891).
