Histology
Histology is the microanatomy method and a branch of biology that studies the anatomy of tissues. It includes viewing tissue in a magnified view under the microscope. Microanatomy also includes the process of study of organs called organology and the study of cells called cytology. Histopathology is a branch of biology that includes microscopic identification of diseased tissue. The field of histology comprises the preparation of the tissues and collection of cells as specimens for examination under the microscope. These processes are done by technicians like histologists, histotechnicians, and biomedical scientists. Histopathology is the diagnosis and research of tissue diseases that require the examination of tissues and/or cells under a microscope. Histopathologists are in charge of determining tissue diagnosis and assisting clinicians in managing a patient's care.
Endocrine System
Human body functions due to the collective work of the organ systems. One of them is the endocrine system. It is a chemical messenger system constituting the hormones directly released by the endocrine glands into the circulatory system. The study of this system is known as endocrinology. The word 'endon' means inside, and 'crine' means secrete, making the word "endocrine."

- Given the following diseases/conditions, relate them to the events that take place in the neuromuscular junction. Identify the specific cause and the pathologic manifestations of such conditions. Myasthenia gravis Lambert-Eaton Syndrome Neuromyotonia 2. In 3-4 sentences compare and contrast the various types of muscle contraction (See attached picture) and be able to give at least an example for each. What type of contraction causes change in length of muscle fibers? Which type does not result to movement?uestion Completion Status: 110 QUESTION 5 While tetanus is the term we use to describe summation of twitches, it is also a disease caused by the bacteria Clostridium tetani. These bacteria produce a toxin that causes inappropriate firing in neurons. Patients infected with this bacteria can experience what is known as "lockjaw" where the jaw gets stuck in place or violently contracts to the point where people can experience muscle tears or even shattered teeth. Given this information about tetanus, what is the likely explanation for how this bacterial disease causes the problems described? O The toxin causes inappropriate closing of sodium channels leading to rapid contractions that summate and eventually form a state of tetanus. O The toxin causes the sarcoplasmic reticulum to open inappropriately leading to contraction of the muscles and causing issues for those infected. O The toxin causes the muscle to repolarize slower leading to longer periods of contraction where the muscles are…Case Scenario based upon the Muscular System: Mark invited Kenny to play in his member-guest golf tournament at his new country club. The tournament consisted of an 18-hole practice round on Thursday, 27 holes on Friday, and 27 holes on Saturday. The temperature reached 97 degrees all three days. Mark woke up Friday night with cramps in his gastrocnemius. What could be the cause of these cramps and how could they have been prevented? Kenny did not fare much better...on Saturday afternoon, he stepped into a hole off of the fairway and twisted his ankle. He finished the round, but on Sunday, the ankle was quite swollen and he could barely walk. He also was having severe back spasms. He made a trip to Urgent Care and was diagnosed with a sprained ankle and a strained back. How does a sprain differ from a strain? How is a sprain/strain often treated (Hint: PRICE)? What are some things a person can do to help prevent back injuries?
- Please answer of exercise 3 all the questions with explain Thank uPoor posture Assume that your client, Phil, age 55, has come to work out with your facility with poor posture. Now - prescribe a few specific stretching and strengthening exercises for this particular area of concern in addition to some aerobic exercise. Assume your client has been cleared for exercise. 1. State the problem your client has. What will this mean as far as special considerations (what sets this apart from the typical exercise prescription) when Phil exercises? 2. State what stretches and/or strengthening/Resistance exercises you will use. Please attach images and state what the name of the exercise is and what it is supposed to stretch/strengthen related to the procedure, or the condition Phil has.why motor neuron integrity is essential in the skeletal muscle development and function. Support your answer describing conditions associated to the motor neurons deterioration and/or malfunctioning.
