Algorithm Steps:-

1. Find the number of seconds since Jan 1, 1970, using the time(NULL) function call and store the returned value in a Long Long variable.

2. Calculate and store the constant number of seconds in a year, month, week, day, and hour. For example number of seconds in an hour = 60*60, the number of seconds in a day = 60*60*24, and so on.

3. Starting from the biggest unit i.e. year- calculate the number of years passed by dividing the total number of seconds by the number of seconds in a year calculated in step 2.

4. Calculate the number of seconds left by finding the modulus (remainder) of total seconds with a number of seconds in a year.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all smaller units - months, weeks, days, and hours.

6. Display the calculated results as a well-formatted string.
