SavingsAccount Class
Design a SavingsAccount class that stores a savings account’s annual interest rate and balance. The class constructor should accept the amount of the savings account’s starting balance. The class should also have methods for subtracting the amount of a withdrawal, adding the amount of a deposit, and adding the amount of monthly interest to the balance. The monthly interest rate is the annual interest rate divided by twelve. To add the monthly interest to the balance, multiply the monthly interest rate by the balance, and add the result to the balance.
Test the class in a
- a. Ask the user for the amount deposited into the account during the month. Use the class method to add this amount to the account balance.
- b. Ask the user for the amount withdrawn from the account during the month. Use the class method to subtract this amount from the account balance.
- c. Use the class method to calculate the monthly interest.
After the last iteration, the program should display the ending balance, the total amount of deposits, the total amount of withdrawals, and the total interest earned.

- JAVA PROGRAMMING Write two java files for this assignment: Circle.java, and Main.java. The Circle.java file will create an actual class. The Circle class: MEMBER VARIABLE double radius double x double y Eight methods: Six of the methods are simple: getter’s and setter’s for x, y, and radius. There should also be a getArea method that returns the area (derived from the radius) A doesOverlap method. This method should accept a Circle as an argument, and return true if this circle overlaps the circle that the method was invoked on. [Note: two circles overlap if the sum of their radius' is greater than or equal to the distance between their centers.] void setX(double value) double getX() void setY(double value) double getY() void setRadius(double value) double getRadius() double getArea() boolean doesOverlap(Circle otherCircle) second class will be the typical replit Main class, with its static main method .It should contain code that tests the Circle class. submit code that…arrow_forwardTime This class is going to represent a 24-hour cycle clock time. That means 0:0:0 (Hour:Minute:Second) is the beginning of a day and 23:59:59 is the end of the day. It has the following members: a) -int startTime; // variable tracking when the timer was started (unused when timer is not running). - Circle ClassWrite a Circle class that has the following fields:• radius: a double• PI: a final double initialized with the value 3.14159The class should have the following methods:• Constructor. Accepts the radius of the circle as an argument.• Constructor. A no-arg constructor that sets the radius field to 0.0.• setRadius. A mutator method for the radius field.• getRadius. An accessor method for the radius field.• area. Returns the area of the circle, which is calculated asarea = PI * radius * radius• diameter. Returns the diameter of the circle, which is calculated asdiameter = radius * 2• circumference. Returns the circumference of the circle, which is calculated ascircumference = 2 * PI * radiusWrite a program that demonstrates the Circle class by asking the user for the circle’s radius, creating a Circle object, and then reporting the circle’s area, diameter, and circumference.arrow_forward# Coding - Simulate a robot Write a program that simulates the movements of a robot. The robot can have three possible movements: turn right turn left advance The robot is placed on a hypothetical infinite grid, facing a particular direction (north, east, south, or west) at a set of `{x,y}` coordinates,e.g., `{3,8}`, with coordinates increasing to the north and east. Create a Class `Robot` that contains a method `execute` which given a number of instructions will calculate the robot's new position, and the the direction in which it is pointing. ## Example The letter-string "RAALAL" means: Turn right Advance twice Turn left Advance once Turn left yet again Say a robot starts at `{7, 3}` facing north. Running this stream of instructions should leave it at `{9, 4}` facing west. ## Inputs and Outputs The argument of the `execute` is `string` in the format `X Y BEARING COMMANDS`. The method should return a one-liner `string` in the format `X Y BEARING`. In the…arrow_forwardEmployee and ProductionWorker Classes Create an Employee class that has properties for the following data: Employee name Employee number Next, create a class named ProductionWorker that is derived from the Employee class. The ProductionWorker class should have properties to hold the following data: Shift number (an integer, such as 1, 2, or 3) Hourly pay rate The workday is divided into two shifts: day and night. The Shift property will hold an integer value representing the shift that the employee works. The day shift is shift 1 and the night shift is shift 2. Create an application that creates an object of the ProductionWorker class and lets the user enter data for each of the object’s properties. Retrieve the object’s properties and display their values.arrow_forward
- :Define and implement class Employee. This class should contain the following fields: first name, last name, employee id, hourly pay. This class should contain getters and setters for all its attributes. This class also needs at least one constructor. Implement method computePay() in this class. This method should accept an integer number of hours the employee worked as an input argument and return a floating point value indicating the pay the employee earned. If the number of hours is invalid (e.g. a negative number) this method should throw NumberFormatException. If the number of hours is over 40 then this method should throw a custom exception named TooManyHoursWorkedException. Remember that you will have to define your own exception class for this. Save this class and its definition into a file named Employee.java. Define and implement class EmployeeTest. This class should implement main() method. In the body of the main() method you should create an instance of Employee with the…arrow_forwardDice Rolling Class In this problem, you will need to create a program that simulates rolling dice. To start this project, you will first need to define the properties and behaviors of a single die that can be reused multiple times in your future code. This will be done by creating a Dice class. Create a Dice class that contains the following members: Two private integer variables to store the minimum and maximum roll possible. Two constructors that initialize the data members that store the min/max possible values of rolls. a constructor with default min/max values. a constructor that takes 2 input arguments corresponding to the min and max roll values Create a roll() function that returns a random number that is uniformly distributed between the minimum and maximum possible roll values. Create a small test program that asks the user to give a minValue and maxValue for a die, construct a single object of the Dice class with the constructor that initializes the min and max…arrow_forwardNutritional information (classes/constructors) PYTHON ONLY Complete the FoodItem class by adding a constructor to initialize a food item. The constructor should initialize the name (a string) to "None" and all other instance attributes to 0.0 by default. If the constructor is called with a food name, grams of fat, grams of carbohydrates, and grams of protein, the constructor should assign each instance attribute with the appropriate parameter value. The given program accepts as input a food item name, fat, carbs, and protein and the number of servings. The program creates a food item using the constructor parameters' default values and a food item using the input values. The program outputs the nutritional information and calories per serving for both food items. Ex: If the input is: M&M's10.034.02.01.0 where M&M's is the food name, 10.0 is the grams of fat, 34.0 is the grams of carbohydrates, 2.0 is the grams of protein, and 1.0 is the number of servings, the output is:…arrow_forward
- (Date Class) Create a class called Date that includes three pieces of information as datamembers—a month (type int), a day (type int) and a year (type int). Your class should have a constructor with three parameters that uses the parameters to initialize the three data members. For thepurpose of this exercise, assume that the values provided for the year and day are correct, but ensurethat the month value is in the range 1–12; if it isn’t, set the month to 1. Provide a set and a get function for each data member. Provide a member function displayDate that displays the month, dayand year separated by forward slashes (/). Write a test program that demonstrates class Date’s capabilities.arrow_forwardIt's not clear why a class needs a destructor.arrow_forwardPart 1 Java Create a UML class diagram for the Circle class as described below: radius: a double PI: a final double initialized with the value 3.14159 The class should have the following methods: a constructor that takes the radius of the circle getRadius – An accessor (getter) for the radius setRadius - A mutator (setter) method for the radius calculateArea - Returns the area of the circle, which is calculated as: area = PI * radius * radius calculateDiameter - Returns the diameter of the circle, which is calculated as: diameter = radius * 2 calculateCircumference - Returns the circumference of the circle, which is calculated as: circumference = 2 * PI * radius Create test data for several different Circle objects and calculate the expected results of calling the various methods.
