The culture that has a higher concentration of target protein is the Ubi- culture as it lacks the ubiquitin which prevents it from activating it under ATP and thus, incapable of degrading the target protein. After 100 minutes, the activated ubiquitin in ubi+ culture will degrade the protein and its concentration will decrease. However, in the culture where the activation of ubiquitin did not take place, the target protein will have a higher concentration.
