Child abuse is when a child whose parent or other person legally responsible for his/her care imposes major injury upon the child; or causes a risk of the same; or commits a sexual offense; or allows someone else to perpetrate maltreatment on a child

Child Abuse: When a parent or any caregiver causes injury, emotional harm, or death to a child.

Child abuse is when a parent or caregiver, whether through an action or failing to act causes injury, death, or emotional harm to the child. A parent is responsible for disciplining their child, but some may have a tendency of using extreme measures. In my opinion, I think in certain cases mild physical punishment is acceptable. However, severe physical punishment should be avoided at all times, because this is not healthy for the child.

The article begins with a few realistic examples of what is possible to occur to internet users when someone obtains a free entry to their confidential information in their computers. The point she addresses mostly throughout the article is how dangerous it is for children. Physical abuse is the act of hitting, shaking, throwing, poisoning, burning or scalding, drowning, suffocating, or otherwise causing physical harm to an individual.

When it comes to addressing the issue of child exploitation when used with technology, there are different methods that could be considered. The reasons for different the multitude of recommendations is due to the multitude of ways the crime can be prevented. These methods encompass different avenues, such as international co-operation, domestic, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), parents, and programs geared towards preventing victimization. There are two issues with the recommendations; the focus is primarily on deterring offenders and the timeframe that would be required for implementing the recommendations so that they would be effective.

Sexting is usually linked to cyber-bulling, school harassment and suicide, as well as domestic violence, as the circulation of explicit images is made to humiliate, abuse and stalk. There is a concern regarding young people’s future, as it seems children are jeopardizing it due to the circulation of such images/videos on the internet, which can be available to family and upcoming employers.

Sure it was ok when the nudie pictures came out, but teaching children racism and bigotry and exploiting innocent children in a sexual manner is taking things a little too far.
