Global warming is not myth, but is a real thing. Scientists have proven that over and over global warming is real. According to scientific reports 11 out of 12 years have ranked among the warmest on record. This increase temperature has many effects on the environment. Global warming creates nature?s imbalance and it has big impact on weather. Global warming is big part of the reason for sudden heat waves, storms and floods. There are many causes for global warming, but two main causes are burning fossil fuel and deforestation. Both of these causes increase greenhouse gases in the environment which creates greenhouse effects, the scientific reason for global warming.

STDs cost the United States an estimated 15.6 billion dollars a year and is one of the most commonly reported diseases. Adolescents, persons of color, and MSM (Males having sex with males) are at the greatest risk for acquiring STDs. The CDC reports that half of all reported STDs are acquired by adolescents between the ages of 15 and 24.

Additionally, supporting children’s holistic health and well-being will not only enhance their growth and development, but also increase their self-esteem and promotes motivation for example, ‘willingness’ to explore with peers, which will contribute to positive enforcement as they grow and develop. They will also feel value by others and will feel confident to take risks and challenges and to be able to problem solve effectively without fear or judgement .

The need to provide mental health services to culturally diverse clients has increased over the past couple of years due to the increase in racial and ethnic diversity in the United Sates. Consequently, there is a need for mental health professionals to offer effective interventions that address social issues that accompany racial and ethnic diversity (Constantine, Hage, Kindaichi, & Bryant, 2007). Research shows that efforts are being made to implement social justice advocacy strategies and interventions into counseling practices. This growing movement calls for counselors to be agents and advocates for social justice, oppression, and discrimination (Ratts & Hutchins, 2009). Social justice counseling approaches focus on empowering the individual by actively confronting injustices and inequalities that affects clients in their systemic frameworks (Pedersen, Lonner, Draguns, Trimble, & Rio, 2015).

Data plays an important role in this research. Collecting adequate and accurate data is paramount. Prior to data collection, requirements have to be established on what statistics are required for research. To build an accurate simulation model, each detail within the process has to be captured. I would advise Carolyn to study the makeup of our changing nation and evidence of this as seen in our neighborhoods. She should make an effort to learn more about the new cultural groups moving into the community and school so that she is informed and better able to serve the changing community. It’s not enough just to know which groups comprise the community, but she should learn the customs and provide communication in different languages as well. However, it’s not just Carolyn that needs to make this effort, her staff needs to do the same and purposely include all groups within the school atmosphere.
