Jennifer Thompson woke up to the stranger when he had begun to attack her. When she first saw her attacker, she offered to give him her car and money, but he declined that’s when she realized he wasn’t there to rob her but to rape her. The case against George Franklin took place in Redwood City, California. The victim, 8-year old Susan Nason, was raped and murdered by George Franklin in 1969. But it wasn’t until 20 years after this horrendous crime that George Franklin was found guilty. He was guilty of first degree murder. On December 1, 2015, 65 year-old Loretta Macpherson arrived at the emergency room of St. Charles Health System, located in Bend, Oregon. Ms. Macpherson arrived to the emergency room complaining of anxiety. When interviewed about her medication history, Ms. Macpherson was unable to identify the medications which she had been prescribed after her recent hospitalization at St. Charles for brain surgery. After examination, the emergency room physician ordered fosphenytoin, an anti-seizure medication, to be administered via intravenous infusion to Ms. Macpherson. An emergency call came in at 9:45 am made by Doug Greene who is a neighbor of the victim Anna Garcia claiming that he had not seen Anna Garcia since her normal morning walk at 6:30 am the previous morning and that the dog had been barking for 2 hours, he had also mentioned that Anna Garcia was wearing a sweater when he had seen her the previous morning while experiencing a 92 degree heat wave. Mr.Greene had called Anna’s telephone with no answer, and had also rang the doorbell with no answer. The EMT and local police had arrived to the scene at 9:56 am, needing to break the door down. EMS discovered Anna Garcia laying face down, dead.

She left a voice message that included her contact information and requested a call back. She called DENCAP on 2/11/2016 and was informed that they spoke with Ms. Allen on 2/9/2016 and advised her that they have her DENCAP benefits updated in their system.

Spoke with Jade Bray, CHR therapist with regarding to Valerie treatment. This writer questioned Ms. Bray about her concerns and the mental health provider intervention for the patient due to the 3 suicidal ideation as a result of stresses in the patient's life. According to Ms. Bray, she expressed her concerns of the patient not following through with recommendations, mainly referring to Chrysalis for assistance with housing, the patient misuse of funds, and discontinuing her use of her addiction.
