Process of Analysis
First in my process, I selected I need to figure out my audience demographics. Our school has a business school, a cosmetology school, a culinary school, and a medical school. With that said, I believe my audience to be those who want to attend college. More specifically, male and female high school seniors, non-working and working married and single men and women. These men and are also do not have a lot of money and want to finish in a faster period of time than the norm. They want to be able to graduate and get a job as soon as possible and waste no time.
Second in my process, I had to assess what I need to know about my audience, I learned that I needed to know a bit more about the above males and females. For example,

The college must discover what similarities it has with the audience and their family and friends. For example, if my college uses social media to connect to them and who they know, they will be able to raise awareness of the college and what it has to offer. Through these communities, the college can change its perception and get those to attend the college by offering information, stories, and statistics. Hinton and Hjorth (2013).
Characteristics
There are several characteristics of my audience, which was mentioned above. These include both majority and minority groups. These characteristics I would choose would be gender, nationality, and if they are non-affluent or poor.
Visual Representation
Below are two visual examples of data I collected for my social media program analysis. Not all of the visuals are included. Viner (2014) and Young Research (2013) ~

Because of our business and culinary programs my audience also consists of married and single men and fathers, but there are definitely more women here at the college. Cindy, from her peer feedback, helped me clarify that I do want potential students to be the main focus of my audience. Cindy (2015) Second, I found that these men and women do use social media, mostly Facebook. However, Latrice also suggests in her peer feedback that many like her do blog and live chat. Latrice (2015) Third, I found during the analysis that if my college spent more money and time on social media instead of the traditional methods they use, this would drastically change things for the
Changing your engine oil is one of the single most important vehicle maintenance acts you can perform. Over time the oil breaks down and no longer performs its job the way it did when it was new. Your engine 's oil helps absorb heat from the engine and lubricates moving metal parts that would otherwise grind together. As you drive, the oil pump circulates oil within your engine and the oil filter catches the deposits that build up over time. The oil filter performs its own type of car maintenance by keeping the oil clean. But as the oil gets older, the number of deposits in the oil continues to build and the filter is unable to extract all of the material. When this happens, the color of the oil changes and it indicates the oil should be
Demographics make sense to me. My example is about the demographics of Forever 21 shop clothing. Their main customer focus on the big teen retailers from 18 to 24 years old, female and male fashion, young, active, and fashionable customer. The education level is College and completed. Their price strategy is reasonable and low budget
Audience analysis is described as the process of examining information about your listeners. Then using that analysis helps you adapt your message so that your listeners will respond as you wish (Steven A. and Susan J. Beebe, 2015). It is highly important to read your audience when presenting a speech, the first thing I noticed about my classroom audience was everyone has a good sense of humor and were open minded as to what they might be hearing. In this paper I will be analyzing my classroom audience and describing how they might react to my speeches and what is the best way to present my speeches. I will discuss the differences between each person and how their views will shape my speeches as a whole because ultimately I must appeal to my audience.
There are three schools students may have an interest in, these colleges are: Cal Poly Pomona, San Diego State University, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The information a student could research are graduation rate, admission rate, jobs out of school, curriculum, greek life, and the student to faculty rate. With the curriculum set at each university, many courses are offered to potential students. After one earns a degree, based on a specific curriculum, schools try to help one student get a job once that pupil have graduated. In the upcoming paragraphs one student could participate on campus: the fun in engaging in greek life, or how in class, the student to faculty ratio may affect a student 's learning. By gathering information
It is also important to know that the insights will all be housed under one overarching message, and one singular call to action:
6. What are my audience’s values in relation to this message? What do they care about most?
There is a wide group of people that could be the potential audience. It could be high school students that could read about this and are
For Hillsborough Community College to attract the most students and achieve higher retention rates, Differentiated Marketing would be the best practice. Because Hillsborough Community College is predominantly diverse, target marketing groups should include dual-enrolled students, recent high-school graduates, young adults, and career-oriented adults seeking higher education. A smaller marketing group to consider is the mature adult over the age of 60 who are seeking recreational classes. Promotional messages should be developed to target each group in order to increase attraction and retention in each group category. The main marketing focus of HCC has been on the high school market, and not in actively recruiting the adult market (Clarus 16). Though the high school market may always display a greater percentage of students attending HCC, other marketing groups may show an improved interest if promotional messages are targeted to each group, thus increasing overall attendance.
Marquette University had many successes building its brand through a strategic social media strategy. According to the case study, members of The Office of Communications and Marketing supported and participated in the conception and planning stages to help structure an effective social media strategy. In addition to the research and information gathered internally, the university also engaged with a variety of audiences, not physically on the campus, to further extend its market research and brand. Marquette University’s marketing and communications team’s strategy for social media is focused on engagement, dialogue, bridging of information, and community. This strategy aligns with the university’s mission, “the search for truth, the discovery and sharing of knowledge, the fostering of personal and professional excellence” (”About Marquette: Our Mission,” n.d.).
Social media is defined as websites and applications used for social networking, in other words it is a way for people to interact and express themselves without being face to face. Social media has become a large part of the life of teenagers, who make up most of the population of people who are subjected to using social media in their daily lives. Many college students are faced with balancing their social lives with school and even athletics making priorities a big dilemma for them. College students in America are affected in many ways by social media whether it be their social life, their happiness, or their grades.
Provide a description of your audience (e.g., its demographics like age, gender, ethnicity, etc. as well as any other information about them that impacts the way you plan and present the speech (see the textbook, pp. 618–628).
For the open genre assignment, While try to find a hostile target audience two demographics was always appearing. First, being Millennials and the second one being Generation X. It was then when I decided to format my

The characteristics of the audience that I must consider when addressing the audience are the primary stakeholders.
Jon Russell once said, “Social Media presents a huge opportunity for schools, universities and other educational organizations to reach out and connect with students and prospective students”. With no doubt, social media has influenced the way students are educated today. For those of you who do not know the exact definition of social media, the social media means ways of sharing information, opinions, images, videos using the Internet, especially social networking sites. Because of the Internet, people started finding ways to socialize through social websites and exchange information. Popular social network on the Internet such as YouTube became a sensation for me ever since I became a student in college. Today social media can be used for educational purposes. The ways social media is changing education has affected how the students express themselves, behave, and interact with each other.
