My Rules To Live By
Have you ever heard the quote¨rules are rules¨,Well that's true because you have to live by some rules to survive and not go crazy and help your future self out a bit.I have rules to live by to help me get out of school and got to college and make a good job and just to not worry about what people have to say about me and not worrying about stuff.Living with rules can make your life a whole lot easier being able to look at a list of rules if you have a problem or need a explanation for what's happening and if you need help you can look at your ¨Rules¨ and be able to help yourself.
The big three “rules to live by” that all people should follow are ¨Being kind can give make opportunities spark but being rude can lead you to being unhappy and just not feeling the way you should feel when you happy.
One rule that all people should live by is¨Appreciate what you have because if you lose it or break it you may never get it back.¨My mom

My grandmother taught me that “there is no excuse for bad manners,” and I have taken this little piece of wisdom with me throughout life. People in today's world seem to have thrown away manners and have forgotten that common decency, basic kindness, concern, respect and courtesy can not only open doors of opportunity, it literally defines their character. Ethics and morality is not just about big things – it's about the small things: the details of life. Morris calls this the “conditions under which people can be their best and do their best” (Morris p. 122). Treating people with
Good manners can and will make you more successful in life. Many people don’t consider others and only care about themselves. This can not only be harmful to your well-being, but being rude can affect more people than just you. As Lauren Tarshis wrote in “Is Anything Wrong With this Picture,” “Manners serve to make the world a happier and more pleasant place to live.” The reason that manners exist is to keep us civil. Without them, everyone would be extremely rude and not much would be achieved. Classes would constantly be interrupted, people’s feelings would be hurt, and no one would have any respect for others. Thus, we all must try to use good manners and be
One is to always stay humble and kind. I believe in karma thus, we should never do things that we would not want others to do to us. Two is to never have so much self-pride and to be selfless. Being selfless comes with a great feeling and others will appreciate you even more. Three, and my most favorite, love come from the heart and soul, not by image. When it comes to love, you do not see the flaws and imperfections, you see everything in that person perfectly.
How often do you find yourself being spoken to in an unkind manner or talked down to? Everyone at some point is guilty of this at one point or another in their life. Rule six is essentially addressing this issue, speak kindly. Most people do not realize the significance of verbal communication and if practiced incorrectly how detrimental it can be to others. Breaking rule six is a drastic setback in improving your civility skills and can handicap you when it comes to many things. Forni immediately begins to state, “speaking with consideration and kindness is at the heart of civil behavior” (M., 2002, p.65). Without following this key rule
On the other hand, there are others who were just born rude. They say anything they want to others without thinking. There facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice contribute to this. These are the people who are really negative in life. I don’t see how people can just say whatever out their mouth without even thinking of how others would take it or how it would make them feel. When people are being rude they are revealing who they are as a person in life. They are weak-minded. This shows how little their minds are and how they are working because only know how to be rude and disrespectful. People who always say, “They don’t care”, “I only care about myself”, “Nobody’s feelings matter to me”, and “It doesn’t concern me” are the people who fit in this kind of category typically because that’s their mindset and how they think. You really need to think about others and the way you speak to them
The first rule is respect for others. A few of those “others” are teachers, police, authority figures, and business people. Respect
Without rules and regulations all civilization would plunge into chaos, as there would be nothing protecting us from one another’s most basic self serving instincts, and sometimes self-destructive habits. Often time’s simple rules and regulations protect us from ourselves, such as not touching a hot furnace or driving through an intersection when the light is red. If we look just at laws of the road one can quickly see how many devastating accidents would occur (and how many lives would be ruined) if no one followed the rules of the road. Without the utmost care to follow these rules, things that could easily be prevented may happen, resulting in very negative things.
According to The Positivity Solution, an organization dedicated to spread positivity, dignity, and kindness, “Rudeness is often a by-product of a lack of respect. Not to sound like Captain Obvious here, but most people don’t choose to be rude and disrespectful to people who they respect, do they?”. What they are trying to convey is that people often don’t give everyone the respect they deserve. When we do not give people respect, we lose respect for ourselves and become rude in other people’s eyes. As we learn to realize that everyone deserves respect, we can see that even the most small things can earn our attention. If you are consciously deciding to give people respect or not, that is a mistake. Why do people need your acceptance to be treated equally? They do not. And if you are making a choice based on shallow judgment, you are destroying the love and kindness that others have shown to you. To be critical like that is unacceptable and wrong universally.
However, we should pay attention to our manners, utilize our communication skills; and on the bottom line, we need to avoid intentionally hurting people.
All through life, we experience various occasions when decision-making become necessary. A number of them present themselves in difficult forms and at crucial points. Most of the verdict we take will eventually figure and describe our track of lives. These are what we refer to as lessons of life. Choices never present themselves in an easy way. In some instance we are always forced to pay a price to achieve something. This implies that we are trading for an outcome we are seeking.
This means to respect others as you would want them to respect you. If you ask someone for help and they concur, do not steal the credit for their work. On the other hand, if what they helped you with is unintentionally wrong, do not blame them or yell at them, as they were only trying to help you out. Never cut someone else down in front of others, yell at them or point out their bad qualities.
I can remember as a child always asking myself the “why” questions of life. What is the purpose of life? Why are we here? What is the purpose of life? Why do certain things happen? And is there really a God? I had always kept these questions to myself and eventually pushed them out of my mind altogether. I was raised in a Christian household and you just were not allowed to ask questions of that nature and doubt the faith. The world is the way it is because God made it that way and that is all there is to it. I was really excited to take this class because it would finally give me the opportunity to exercise my personal thoughts and beliefs. I have come to agree with Socrates that “the unexamined life is not
The life given by god has a very special meaning a value in which people sometimes forget to thank or either regret. Many students/adults believe that they are going to be popular if they have money and a good job buy forget that people are influenced by those who have learned something. Also a lot fail to remember, to earn value you must earn it.In today’s economy the government creates a value on the person by looking at the position they are held for. If you look at it from the society’s point of view they believe people should be given value according to what they do and what position they are. From an individual's perspective they judge themselves on what they accomplish and achieve. The value of the individual would
