A situation, in which critical and creative thought could have been used for a better outcome, is when investors were making decisions about the purchase of real estate. In 2006 the real estate market was giving signs of weakening where prior to that year it was booming, but investors were not thinking critically and creatively instead, they were greedy and they let greed make decisions for them. To make matters worse

How is critical thinking used today? This is a typical question that a student in a non-nursing major may ask, but here at the Christ College, we would be happy to answer that for you. As a student nurse, I use and witness critical thinking and clinical reasoning in the clinical field every day. To better understand this topic, I found two articles to read and review. The first article I found is based on education and the second shows the view of a well-practiced nurse.

Why did I pick the illusive big idea instead of I Can't Think? Both topics describe my present state, I've been sick since July of this year and doctors are still trying to get to the bottom of it. Tests and referrals to specialist eclipse the day to day deluge of things that normally prevented introspection of any real meaning. So, no I can't think, but I know the answer to that question and it is more of a blurb, in fact, a short obituary for existential thought. Vanities, vanities, all is vanity, King Soloman said and he is right, "there is nothing new under the sun". All is plagiarism, watch the movie with Leo decaprio, using the germination of an idea as a weapon. Inception, is the name of the movie and its plot is simultaneously

I like the analogy you used with baking the cake and not having icing, to explain the relationship between language and thinking. The cake will be incomplete without the icing, and without thinking what we are going to say, the language used can be inappropriate or totally make no sense. Critical thinking is crucial before we say something, we want to make sure we get our message across clearly with the proper language, it will avoid a lot of misunderstandings.
The imaginative critical thinking process I learned in this weeks address was exceptionally enlightening. I didn't realize that critical thinking had such huge numbers of ventures to it. I trust each progression is extremely powerful on the grounds that its separating everything into less difficult perspectives. I figure the most troublesome advance would take care of the issue. The reason I think taking care of the issue would be the most difficult advance is on the grounds that you've conceptualized such huge numbers of thoughts and picking the correct one can be the test. What step I thought would be most useful for me as an understudy would the conceptualizing procedure. I need to get settled with having a terrible thought however giving

Critical thinking, in the context of employability, it is a broad term that encompasses the use of “problem solving, analysis, creative thinking, interpretation, and reasoning.” (Dash, “Why Critical Thinking Skills Are Essential in Business”) In other words, while there are varying definitions for critical thinking, it is generally considered a skill set with specific parameters. One of the necessary conditions within of this definition is that the idea to which the term ‘critical thinking’ is ascribed is a skill set. This is also considered a “key area” of professional development. (Joschik, “Well-Prepared in Their Own Eyes”) Furthermore, critical thinking is necessarily a mental process. This is due to the fact that each of the encompassed terms, such as problem solving and analysis, are mental processes. Finally, if the subject to which the term ‘critical thinking’ is being applied is “the ability to think clearly and rationally,” then the subject possesses the sufficient condition to be considered critical thinking. (Hofmeister, “Critical Thinking and Getting a Job”)

The concepts of critical thinking and creative thinking are both gaining increasing importance in the world today. Critical thinking allows people to understand difficult concepts in a manner that is clearer and more defined. They can more readily understand those concepts if they employ critical thinking. In all portions of everyday life, a person is expected to make independent judgments. Those judgments are based on experience and knowledge. Without the ability to think critically, every situation that a person comes across would have to be considered in isolation from all other situations. When a person encounters a problem that is a new one, he or she may be able to use critical thinking to solve those problems.
