Samuel McChord Crothers (1857–1927)

Crothers, Samuel McChord. An American clergyman and author; born in Oswego, IL, June 7, 1857; died in 1927. Ordained to the Presbyterian ministry 1877; entered the Unitarian ministry 1882. Among his published works are ‘Members of One Body’ (1894); ‘Miss Muffet’s Christmas Party’ (1901); ‘The Gentle Reader’ (1903); ‘The Pardoner’s Wallet’ (1905); ‘Among Friends’ (1910); ‘Humanly Speaking’ (1912).
