William Croswell (1804–1851)

Crosswell, William. An American poet and hymn-writer; born in Hudson, NY, Nov. 7, 1804; died in Boston, Nov. 9, 1851. Many of his religious poems and hymns appeared in the collection of ‘Poems, Sacred and Secular,’ edited by Arthur Cleveland Coxe (1859).
