Leadership refers to the act of leading an organization or a group of people. It is the manager's ability to persuade subordinate or team members to work with zeal and confidence. It involves the potential of a manager to influence other's behavior in the organization.

The personal traits that would be of significance to the business leader now days are creative, dependability, compassionate, enthusiasm and motivation.

The personal traits that would be of significance to the business leader now days are explained shown below:
1. Creative: The business is required to be a creative person in order to be effective. Roughly all great companies have emerged out of the creativity trait of their leaders.
2. Dependability: Effective business leaders accounts for most dependable person. A leader should have dependable so that its immediate team members or subordinates can rely upon him.
3. Compassionate: Compassion is an important trait which business leader must have now days. Lack of companion possesses serious threat to the companies. The leaders that are compassionate reflect their compassion towards their team member and make them believe that they are a valuable resource and their support is wanted in the company.
4. Enthusiasm: A leader who is enthusiastic is time and again followed greatly by his subordinates or team members. A business leader now days should be enthusiastic in the task or activities performed by him.
5. Motivation: An effective business leader is one that motivates his subordinates or followers to complete their task or duty. When the subordinate come across any difficulty in fulfilling the same, a leader gets into the situation, provide direction and motivate them to pursue their duties.
I believe that the traits set forth above are more significant from a business perspective than others. Leader's traits such as assertiveness, organized and creativity must exist in a business leader. A leader is required to have additional qualities in order to enjoy competitive advantages among others in a business environment. Lastly, Strengths are inherent but traits can be focused and improved upon.
