The basic structural, biological, and functional unit of the living organisms is known as cell. Major components of the cell are cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm. The cytoplasm contains organelles known as cytoplasmic organelles or cellular organelles which are suspended in the cytosol. These organelles are endoplasmic reticulum, lysosomes, mitochondria, ribosomes, Golgi apparatus, and vacuoles.
