Anthrax is a serious illness which is caused by spore-producing, facultative aerobic bacterium Bacillus anthracis. Anthrax majorly affects livestock and can also infect human by direct or indirect contact with sick animals. Major symptoms of anthrax include difficulty in breathing, intestinal swelling, and body shock. Anthrax can be categorized into three important forms- cutaneous, intestinal, and respiratory anthrax.
