Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Zygosity is basically the degree of similarity of the alleles for the trait within the organism. Most of them have two matching sets of chromosomes and are called diploid. Zygosity can be of two types, namely, homozygous and heterozygous. Homozygous has the same allele in it whereas heterozygous has two alleles, one dominant and one recessive.
