Introduction:
The interior portion of the earth is divided into various layers. The inner and outer core, mantle, crust, asthenosphere, lithosphere are the various layers present in earth’s interior. The inner core is a solid layer, and the outer core is a liquid layer. These are made of minerals.

The molten rocks present near the surface of the earth is called magma. The magma is responsible for the formation of all igneous rocks. The magma contains certain gases in dissolved form. The gases like carbon dioxide and water vapor. It also contains solid crystalline material. The main content of volcanic eruption is formed by magma. The magma also is also released from the volcano. The released magma from the volcano is also called lava.
