However, the suspect was captured by the police much faster than he imagined. The last scene wouldn’t have happened if it was one decade ago, because cell phones were not popular in schools then. When it comes to cell phones, some people think they should not be permitted in schools, and other people think they should be permitted in schools. I agree with the latter opinion for the following reasons: Cell phones are an efficient way to communicate when emergencies occur in school; cell phones can be a great tool for learning during school hours; and the current prohibitive rules on cell phones are merely fruitless

Many teachers believe that cell phones don’t belong in a classroom because there are several disadvantages. An example maybe a student who uses a cell phone in class has no intension in listening or paying attention to the teacher. In addition to cell phones being distracting, people often like to multi-task by walking or driving while texting. These things cause them to be unaware of their surroundings. Texting while driving has become a major issue because texting and driving can lead to car crashes which are often fatal. On the other hand, texting and walking isn’t too bad, but can cause a little bit of embarrassment. There are stories of people walking into walls and bumping into people or tripping over a table because their nose seems to be stuck in their phone. To some, being on their cell phone is more important than grades, clients, and others around them.

It may be true that phones can be used to provide some help to teachers, but phones should not be used in classrooms because phones can be a distraction, used to cheat, and to cyberbully.

Entirely banning the usage of cell phones can make students hate the school causing them to be more arrogant.

Mobile phone is an indispensable item of modern people, some people want to work through mobile phones; some people need mobile phone emergency call; also some people need to record life. Although the phone to bring people a lot of convenience, the phone should be suitable for students to have? Do schools have the right to prohibit students from carrying mobile phones? According to modern trends, most students tend to have a cell phone. However, students carrying mobile phones in school may affect their learning. Schools have the right to prohibit students from using mobile phones in school, in order to enable students to more focused learning, and reduce the students' psychological comparisons.
