By far one of the most beautiful and tranquil places I have visited, the Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina leaves me in awe every time. The overall beauty of the island is second to none and makes you want to stay forever. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, like when the week at the luxurious resort is over. The number of things to do on the resort is suitable for all ages and all personalities alike, from biking, shopping, recreational activities, or just going to the beach, Sea Pines truly does have something for everyone. The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island is one of the most beautiful resorts on the east coast. Highlighted by its beautiful beaches, extensive bike paths, and world class scenery, this is a place I will never forget. Like any good resort, Sea Pines is known for its beautiful and extensive beaches. As soon as I get near the coast, I can hear the squawking of seagulls, the crashing of waves, and the low chatter of people. As I get closer, beach goers wash off the sand and salt in the outdoor shower, people are ordering food and drinks at the beach house, and kids lug boogie boards and toys off the beach to their cars. A tan, worn wooden boardwalk bridges the gap between the patio of the beach club and the beginning of the beach, gently sloping off until the sand takes over. The sand burns my feet, which is to be expected on a day that’s sunny and 95 degrees. An abundance of grassy plants shield my view of
When thinking about getting away to some serene paradise to help forget about work or school obligations most people instantly think of the beach. Whether it be the west or east coast the beach is a universal symbol of peace and serenity, plus a little bit of fun. But this bliss has a whole different meaning to me. This is where I grew up and how I found myself. The west coast of Florida is the first time I felt the sand in my toes and the salt water on my face. These memories inspired me to give back to the ocean and its inhabitants and follow my dreams of becoming a marine biologist.
There I was in a foreign land, lodged in the seats of the cramped van as I pondered thoughts of my future. I was an eighth grader about to enter the arduous experience and intimidating environment of high school. I perceived visions of me struggling through the drudgery of work as well as events where I was given laudations for my witty ideas and prestigious accomplishments. Mixed emotions drowned my brain into a swamp of careless stress, but these were flushed as the abrupt stop of the car brought me out of my daydream. That day was a day I would remember forever, but I was just a child, unknown about what I was going to see.
There is a towing company in central florida that does something similar on the beach boardwalks, they put the signs up facing AWAY from the lot so you can't see them until you actually get out of your car and go to the beach, and they will have an employee in plain clothes and a binocolar calling the towing truck so by the time you go to move your car, it's already loaded up and there's "nothing they can do" so you have to pay hundreds of dollars to get your car back. It's basically extortion, its terrible.
You look around and all you see is mother nature's finest. The beach is where people go to have fun and that’s why I go to this one special beach, because you get a little of everything there. You get wild life, the ocean, and pure silence. The only thing you can hear is the ocean waves crashing onto the beach, reminds me of Niagara falls. Its breathtaking. And everything is clean. No trash laying around at all. Nothing.
My friends and I had taken a weekend trip to Orange Beach. We decided to stay in a condo for the entire weekend. The day that we were going to Orange Beach my friend Hasan was graduating from Madison Central High School in 2015, and he was getting his parents to drive him to Orange Beach so that he could hang out with us for the weekend. We did multiple events such as driving down to Orange Beach and back home, going to the beach, biking, waiting for dinner, living in a condo, and celebrating a friend graduating High School. The events on this trip had many fun and horrific event happen in them. This may be a reason why a person does not take a high school graduate.
As mentioned, Sanibel Island has a number of resorts. Most of these resorts cater services to families, while there are others that cater to adventurers, golfers, and even the romantics. No matter what your interest is, Sanibel Island and its resorts will definitely give you what you are looking for. Just name it, and Sanibel Island and its resorts have it!
After traveling for 3-hours, my family arrived at our beach house in Ocean City Maryland. After making a quick trip for groceries, we decided to go to bed and set alarm clocks for early in the morning. After a good nights sleep, I woke up to the pleasant smell of bacon and eggs. After feasting on a delightful breakfast, my brothers and I began to get ready for the beach. We went down the creaky wooden stairs of our beach house and unlocked the storage room located beneath the home. I decided to carry both of the floral umbrellas while my brothers took the portable beach chairs. After grabbing all of our gear, we headed back up the weathered stairs and towards the distant sand dunes. As we approached the entrance of the sand dunes, the satisfying sounds of the ocean's waves started to become closer and closer. Once we traveled closer, the vivid orange sun began to ascend from the deep sea. At this early point in the morning, the sand walkway enclosed by
"So there you have it…" Arnold took deep breath as he finally finished his story. He leaned back against his chair and waiting for Gerald reaction.
Fortunately, the coastal area of Florida known as Palm Beach has an abundance of white sands, warm waters, and crashing waves. The Breakers offers its guests the opportunity to experience a genuine beach atmosphere, during dining, sport, and leisure times. Whether travellers are sipping a cocktail by the ocean side pool, windsurfing or snorkelling, or enjoying a private oceanfront meal in a Breakers Bungalow, the senses are overwhelmed by luxury beach characteristics.
Once you get here, you can play in the waves, throw a Frisbee, sun bathe, or participate in a game of volleyball. If you want to spend a quiet time, head over to the Barefoot Beach Preserve. With more than 342 aces of sand and vegetation, this place is perfect for kayaking, canoeing, walking, and swimming.
‘’ Wake up, wake up you lazy kids’’ my mum said, ‘’we are going to the beach”. My sister, my two brothers, and I woke with extreme energy, happy because it was the first time we visit the beach that summer. The day dawned bright, the sky was painted in bright blue; the beautiful sun was gleaming and shining gloriously. It was idyllic for a picnic by the sea. We quickly packed our stuff, we took some snacks and swimming outfits, and of course chair decks; we took a fast breakfast, and then we headed to the beach. I was very excited because it was my first summer without the safety armbands. However, I knew that it was going to be a bit of scary and risky but not as much what happened with me, it was like the first day at school.
This photograph was taken on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2015. It was taken during sunset and as the tide had gone out, revealing a wider coastline. The world-famous beach is manmade and since 1951, over 80,000 cubic meters of sand has been imported to replace sand lost through erosion from heavy rainfall, sea swells, wind and tropical storms.
I walked along the beach. As I was walking I could feel the fresh smell of the beach like it was an air freshener but it also smelled that gave me a tingle in my nose. As I kept walking along the beach I could feel the light breeze coming against me. This fresh air felt warm as I felt like I was sleeping in a comfortable bed. I kept walking in the beach, as I did it felt like an escape to all my problems and also my stress. Beach felt like a solution to all my problems and could be open with anything.
The place where I feel most comfortable is a place where I am calm. A place that is peaceful in its own ways. It is the place to go to get away from all my troubles. It is the one place where I could sit forever, and never get tired of just staring into the deepest blue I have ever seen. It is the place where I can sit and think the best. A place where nothing matters but what is in that little moment. The one place capable of sending my senses into an overload. This place is the ocean.
The warm breeze of the ocean air flies past my face. The heat of the yellow sun was sizzling, beating down against my skin, tanning and burning it within seconds. Beach goers were crowded around in all directions. Seagulls gliding past the groups of people, scouting for dropped or forgotten food to eat. Their little footprints marking a trail in the sand all over the place, going in a million different directions, searching for their next meal. I take in the exquisiteness of it all, the blue-green waves crashing into the sandy shore, making white foam and bubbles wash into the sea, little boys and girls that are digging in the bright white sand running away from the small waves before they get wet. The beach is a stunning place to be; there's just something about the ocean waves and the sand between my toes that makes me just want to stay there forever.
