Their Wikipedia page has all the normality’s that other Wikipedia pages have such as their company history/background, the technologies that they provide, where they have market presence, and even the different automation divisions that they provide. They are using Wikipedia to optimize their search engine existence. Wikipedia is usually the second hit in Google search, which makes it an important tool to use when working on SEO of a business’s name/website. Twitter is used for staying connected with followers and promoting products, news, and corporate blog posts. They also use it to share content. One use of twitter is to share the current news in the industry. Along with this, they also post news that links users who click on it back to their website and to their blog. Pepperl+Fuchs uses their blog on their website as their main source of promoting products and dealing with customers. Another use for twitter is linking them with their partnering companies and helping promote them as well. For example, one tweet was, “Intertek collaborates with Pepperl+Fuchs on first hazardous locations panel shop project.” This linked users to a page on the Internet that talked about the partnership created and the project that was on hand. This example also ties into the idea of Pepperl+Fuchs using Twitter to share news. Overall, they use twitter to welcome new followers and create a community to share ideas and news about Pepperl+Fuchs, but their tweets mainly consists with links that take the user back to their blog or to articles on their …show more content…

Their LinkedIn page starts out with a nice about me section at the beginning that would give a customer a lot of knowledge about who they are and what they do exactly. Along with this, they have a link to take you to their site and information on their industry, size, headquarters, and when they were founded. Just like on twitter, on LinkedIn they have recent updates that allow one to click on links about recent news that takes one to their blog on their website. One example under their recent updates section is, “Frequently Asked Questions on RFID.” If one were to click on this it would take them to Pepperl+Fuchs website where they could read an article post on their blog about questions on RFID. This would be beneficial to a consumer of Pepperl+Fuchs that had questions about RFID or trouble using them. It seems that both Twitter and LinkedIn are reaching out to stay connected with customers and potential customers where they can share news and information about their company. When it comes down to their strategy I feel that are just trying to get one onto their website where they can increase their chance of getting
