How would you change the definition of the class DayOfYear in Display 10.4 so that it has two versions of an (overloaded) constructor? One version should have two int formal parameters (one for the month and one for the day) and should set the private member variables to represent that month and day. The other should have no formal parameters and should set the date represented to January 1. Do this without using a constructor initialization section in either constructor.

- Hi, I am making a elevator simulation and I need help in making the passenger classes using polymorphism, I am not sure what to implement in the comment that says logic. Any help is appreciated. There are 4 types of passengers in the system:Standard: This is the most common type of passenger and has a request percentage of 70%. Standard passengers have no special requirements.VIP: This type of passenger has a request percentage of 10%. VIP passengers are given priority and are more likely to be picked up by express elevators.Freight: This type of passenger has a request percentage of 15%. Freight passengers have large items that need to be transported and are more likely to be picked up by freight elevators.Glass: This type of passenger has a request percentage of 5%. Glass passengers have fragile items that need to be transported and are more likely to be picked up by glass elevators. This is what i have so far public abstract class Passenger { protected String type; protected int…arrow_forwardThis is for pygame Text Class The Text class inherits from Drawable and it will be used to display the player's score. You must implement at the very least the required methods of the base class (draw and get_rect), as well as a constructor. You may need to implement other methods as part of the public interface. This is the Drawable Class import pygame import abc import random class Drawable(metaclass - abc. It should have parameters for each of the attributes and set their values. Additionally, include getters and setters for each of the attributes. Add a driver, name it Purchases, and create 2 objects. Finally, print out some information about both objects (i.e., print the information from some or all of the getters). For example, if you created a shoe object whose color was blue, whose display name was shoes , for a price of 230, you could use the getters to print something like this:These work trousers are blue and cost $230arrow_forward
- Modify the student class presented in this chapter as follows. Each student object should also contain the scores for three tests. Provide a constructor that sets all instance values based on parameter values. Overload the constructor such that each test score is assumed to be initially zero. Provide a method called setTestScore that accepts two parameters: the test number (1 through 3) and the score. Also provide a method called getTestScore that accepts the test number and returns the appropriate score Provide a method called average that computes and returns the average test score for this student. Modify the toString method such that the test scores and average are included in the description of the student. Modify the driver class main method to exercise the new Student methods. A Truck can be described as having a make (String), model (String), gas tank capacity (double), and whether it has a manual transmission (or not). Include the following methods in your class definition. A default constructor. An overloaded constructor which takes the make and the model as parameters. This method throws an IllegalArgumentException if the make is “Jeep”. An overloaded constructor which takes the gas tank capacity as a parameter. This method throws an IllegalArgumentException if the capacity of the gas tank is not between 15 and 20 gallons (inclusive). That’s 3 constructors in total. Each constructor, once done executing, should have fully initialized all of the object’s properties (i.e., attributes/member variables). Do not implement a toString method; assume one is properly defined for you. Do not implement any getters or setters. import java.lang.IllegalArgumentException ; // Write your code herearrow_forward
- Can you help me with this please: Write the definition of a class swimmingPool, to implement the properties of a swimming pool. Your class should have the instance variables to store the length (in feet), width (in feet), depth (in feet), the rate (in gallons per minute) at which the water is filling the pool, and the rate (in gallons per minute) at which the water is draining from the pool. Add appropriate constructors to initialize the instance variables. Also, add member functions to do the following: determine the amount of water needed to fill an empty or partially filled pool, determine the time needed to completely or partially fill or empty the pool, and add or drain water for a specific amount of time, if the water in the pool exceeds the total capacity of the pool, output "Pool overflow" to indicate that the water has breached capacity. The header file for the swimmingPool class has been provided for reference. Write a program to test your swimmingPool class. Modify the parametrized constructor which assigns parameters to the required fields. - In this problem, you are going to create an Employee superclass and an HourlyEmployee subclass. The Employee class will hold the employee’s name and annual salary. You should have getters for both instance variables, but only a setter for the salary. In the HourlyEmployee class, you will add an hours instance variable as well as a method to set and get the hourly salary. You are not storing the hourly salary, but rather converting it to an annual salary. To convert an houlry salary to an annual salary, multiply the hourly rate by the number of hours per week and then by 52. You will need to do the reverse to get the hourly salary. Both classes should have a toString and examples are in the starter code. Be sure to test your classes in the EmployeeTester class! public class EmployeeTester{public static void main(String[] args){// Start here!}} public class HourlyEmployee extends Employee { private double hoursPerWeek; // Call the Employee constructor and pass it a calculated…arrow_forwardThe following is a class definition for a simple Ebook. Two instance variables and one parameterless constructor are provided. Part 1: Write a second constructor that takes a String array of pages as input and sets the String array instance variable equal to the input. Continue to default the current page number to zero. Part 2: Write a getter and a setter method for the page number variable. The setter should check to make sure that the input is a valid page number and only update the variable if the new value is valid. Part 3: Write a getCurrentPage method that returns the String of the current page indexed by current_page. public class Ebook{ private String[] pages; private int current_page; //constructor public Ebook() { this.pages = {"See Spot.", "See Spot run.", "Run, Spot, run."}; this.current_page = 0; }}arrow_forwardCreate a Right Triangle class that has two sides. Name your class rightTraingle. Code getter and setters for the base and the height. (Remember class variables are private.) The class should include a two-argument constructor that allows the program to set the base and height. The constructor should verify that all the dimensions are greater than 0. before assigning the values to the private data members. If a side is not greater than zero, set the value to -1. The class also should include two value-returning methods. One value-returning method should calculate the area of a triangle, and the other should calculate the perimeter of a triangle. If either side is -1, these functions return a -1. The formula for calculating the area of a triangle is 1/2 * b*h, where b is the base and h is the height. The formula for calculating the perimeter of a triangle is b+h+sqrt (b*b+h*h). Be sure to include a default constructor that initializes the variables of the base, height to -1. To test…arrow_forward
