Your company wishes to write a computer program that will calculate the amount of heat needed to increase the temperature of a substance by a specified number of degrees. The company also wishes to know who ran the program and on what day of the week they ran it.
You are to write this program. Your program must allow the user to enter the following:
- The user’s name using a dialog box
- Since the program will only be run either on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, restrict the day of the week to these selections using a question dialog
- The mass of the substance in units of grams
- The specific heat of the substance in units of J/(kg K)
- The initial temperature of the substance in units of degrees Fahrenheit
- The final temperature of the substance in units of degrees Fahrenheit
Your program should output the following formatted sentence:
On YYYY, the user XXXX entered a ZZ.ZZ gram mass with a specific heat of AA.AA J/ (kg K) that should be raised from BB.B degrees Fahrenheit to cc .c degrees Fahrenheit.
This should require DD.D J of heat to be added to the substance.
Where:
- XXXX – User name
- YYYY – Day of the week
- ZZ.ZZ – Mass of the substance
- AA.AA – Specific heat of the substance
- BB.BB – Initial temperature
- CC.C – Final temperature
- DD.D – Required heat input

- JUST DRAW THE SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM. NO NEED TO SOLVE. THANK YOU In Rizal province, one of its power plants has been thoroughly monitored for possible conversion into a wind power plant. A propeller wind turbine is to be used. Survey showed that Rizal Province at a height of 10 meters above the ground has a minimum wind speed of 7.1 miles per hour duringthe month of June and a maximum wind speed of 12.9 miles per hour during the month of January. The minimum temperature is at 75 degree Fahrenheit during the month of January and maximum temperature is at 89 degree Fahrenheit during the month of May. The existing power plant has an output of 54MW. For the proposed wind power, the power coefficient of turbine is 35% and the generator efficiency is 95%. - Hi, I need help with the first part of the problem below because I'm very confused about how P1 and P2 should be calculated. If you look at my notes to solve the problem there is already a formula in place as I always thought the Patm should also be multiplied by the Area in the numerator, but it's not if I look at this specific tutorial solution given by my course but it's not explained why. I have done a while ago a very similar problem with using that formula in my notes and it gave me the right results, but it's not working for this one. Could you please help me understand why as I have a test coming soon? Figure Q3 (see image attached) shows a cylinder and pistonenclosing air, the movement of the pistonbeing restrained by a compression spring ofstiffness 20 kN/m. Thank you!arrow_forwardDavid is working on her farming business and faces the challenge of watering her plants daily, which is a tedious and time-consuming task, especially under the scorching sun. The path shefollows for watering the plants is illustrated in figure 1.David's son has taken on the task of designing a prototype to automate the watering process forher. Figure 2 depicts the design, featuring a set of rods. The curved path represents David'stypical watering route, and the straight rod AB AB is confined to move along the path due to the pinsat its ends. Water sprinklers will be positioned at points A and B to efficiently water the plants. At the instant shown in figure 2, point A has the motion shown while its at the edge of the path.Determine the velocity and acceleration of point B at this instant.arrow_forward
