Introduction:
Chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPDs) are an inflammatory disease of the lungs. It occurs due to the obstruction in the pathway of airflow to the lungs, especially in the bronchus, bronchioles, and alveoli. The major causes of COPD are cigarette smoke, exposure to hazardous chemicals, and air pollution. The symptoms of this disease include cough with mucus, difficulty in breathing, and tightness in the chest.
