Question
Chapter 5, Problem 5.33NP
Interpretation Introduction
Interpretation: The maximum heat leak that is tolerable for the refrigerator is to be predicted. The consequence of the heat leak greater than maximum tolerable leak is to be stated.
Concept introduction: Coefficient of performance (COP) for a particular refrigerator reveals about its cooing capacity. It is estimated by taking ratio of heat eliminated to the work done to eliminate that heat. Generally, the actual COP has value lower compared to theoretical COP. COP doesn’t remain constant but changes with the body’s temperature from which heat is to be removed.
