As an undergraduate student at the University of New Mexico I have become increasingly aware of the complex network problems that I face as a citizen of the world. I have also realized the progress and success that I enjoy in the same capacity as the frontiers of medicine, technology and communication continue to expand. My desire to participate in the resolution of those problems and in the further expansion of those frontiers had inspired me to seek a degree in biology and entrance into a School of Dentistry. Although not as notorious today, the neighborhood had garnered negative attention for its high crime rates. My mother emigrated from Haiti and raised me as a single parent. Due to our financial circumstance, Roxbury became our permanent residence. I have always felt there was something lacking in Roxbury in comparison to other towns I visited. I was born the fourth of December 1991 in Cranbrook British Columbia. I lived there for 18 years. Before joining the military I worked as a fry cook at a Burger King for three years and held part time jobs working for the College of the Rockies summer camp programs during the summer. My parents are currently living together in Cranbrook BC. My father works outside the province testing railway tracks for two months at a time, then returns home for two to three weeks. My mother acts as the main contact point of the family, she works as a financial clerk. I have a 22 year old sister who will be attending university in Calgary this September. Throughout high school I participated in numerous volunteer opportunities. I had the opportunity to be my high school's basketball team manager my junior year of high school. As the lady blazers manager I was in charge of attending games, practices, recording fouls and games, as well as organizing the food for the players after their games. However, I also devoted my time to things other than sports. I also volunteered every year at my school's registration for new student. My school, IDEA Quest, places a lot of emphasis on new student registration because new students are given an opportunity to preview their life at IDEA. Sitting in a classroom during the first course for my Administrative Credential, I still clearly recall the moment when I first heard that quote. I had been a classroom teacher for over ten years and yet I had not necessarily thought of or articulated teaching and learning through this lens. This quote and the ensuing discussion I engaged in with my colleagues that evening, resonated with me so strongly that it forever changed and guided my vision of education.

I, Moin Ahmed and my spouse Ismat Ara, continuing our married life since August 22, 2014. I have been working in a prestigious university, as a Lecture since April 8, 2012, and getting a lump sum salary. My organization already provided me No Objection Certificate which is attached with this application and there it is mentioned that, my institution will have no objection if I go abroad to reunite with my spouse, and I will get leave of absence and will be able to join in the same organization after coming back in my country. This NOC is giving me the opportunity to apply for this visa and accompany my wife in her hard times when she is struggling to cope up with a new culture and new environment.

This is Mary McLeod Bethune School of North Lawndale in Chicago, and I am the new principle this year. Due to the poor economy around the school, things have been left to the way side, but I pray help give some hope back. Students are set back and 8th grade for some are their big celebration but I want to see them graduate high school. I want to be sitting in the audience at high school graduation and go those are my kids. Some issues at Bethune are based in the school makeup and location, teachers, readings levels, and the children encouragement.

Food For Thought (FFT), an organization founded in 2016, is one of my most prideful activities of completion. FFT is a local food pantry that is run by National Honor Society (NHS) members. Members pack food that feeds over twenty students and families each week. After I was elected Vice-President of NHS, I was offered the presidential position alongside another colleague to run the pantry. Working within the pantry allowed me to care for my community, gain morality and change the world. The world will change when individuals take action and I was honored to do just that through FFT.

Currently working towards completing my bachelor’s degree for self-fulfillment purposes and just in-case I was to explore employment opportunities outside of my current career. I am working full time as a manager in information systems technology and biomedical engineering at a large health system in CT. The daily challenges of re-engineering clinical technology solutions for the greater good of patient safety keeps me motivated and inspired.

As an experienced technical and entertainment-based writer, I have discovered I have a passion for communicating with and helping other people. I have discovered this desire through numerous projects involving writing, editing, and article development. I hope to bring this desire and experience to your development and project team at Cornucopia Gaming.

In our lives, we have to make important choices, and sometimes our choices determine our happiness or sadness. As a Filipino, our families tell us to do well in school and to not make bad choices because they want us to be successful and to have ethical morals. Growing up as a Catholic, I was taught to be obedient and respectful to my family which has shaped who I am today. Yet, I too made some mistakes, and I learned from the consequences. From my failures, I learned to not belittle myself, but to grow.
