Introduction:
Triacylglycerolsor triglycerides arefats and oils. These molecules are the most common type of lipids. These are nonpolar molecules and hence are not soluble in water. Adipocytes in animals are the cells that store fats and provide energy to function. Similarly, there are triglycerides in a seed, whichprovide energy for the germination of the seed.
